"A Sparkling Party" Selected works in silver at Eblana Gallery
Eblana Gallery will host the first solo exhibition of Kevin O'Dwyer's silverware in Ireland since his retrospective at the Ulster Museum of Art, Belfast in 1999. The exhibition will feature over 40 pieces of sterling silver including coffee services, teapots, candlesticks, vessels and serving pieces. This will be O'Dwyer's largest exhibition of silverware since 2003 and will include a new series of glass and silver vessels developed during his "artist in residency" at Andy Shea Glass Studios in the United States. The exhibition will also feature his new series of " landscape box's" which combine strong and austere architectural forms with reticulated silver surfaces. The exhibition will be open to the public from November 3rd to November 26th. Tuesday to Saturday. All the work is available for purchase from the gallery or online at www.eblanagallery.ie .
