2004-02-25 “ From Europe to the World”: Jameson Irish Whiskey and the European Coordination of Film Festivals have commissioned Kevin O’Dwyer to create the new Jameson Short Film Awards which will be presented at 18 Film Festivals worldwide in 2004. The sculptural award will be presented to a director of a short film representing the best in creative contemporary cinema. The award is made of hand- forged sterling silver and engraved Kilkenny limestone. International film festivals in which the award will be presented include the International Bangkok Film Festival, the Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival and the Cape Town World Cinema Festival.
